Nicholas Walker
Nicholas Walker is an Associate Professor of Music at Ithaca College USA and leads a rewarding career as a freelance musician, composer, and educator in many fields.
He earned his DMA in early music at Stony Brook University with the Viola da Gamba, studied with Paul Ellison and François Rabbath.
In 2012 and 2013, Nicholas is in Berlin on a Ithaca College Provost Travel Grant to study “German Bow Double Bass Technique” in Berlin where he will expand his orchestral repertoire to include influences from Berlin.
Nicholas is also a composer and has given many masterclasses in Europe the USA and Korea.
